Sequins are a fun and flashy way to add some pizzazz to a sewing project. But before you can start sewing with them, you need to know what needle to use.

There are two types of needles that can be used for sewing sequins: a sharp needle and a blunt needle. A sharp needle is good for piercing through the sequins and creating a clean hole. A blunt needle is good for attaching the sequins to the fabric, as it won’t pierce through the sequins.

To figure out which type of needle to use, start by testing the needle on a scrap piece of fabric. If the needle pierces through the sequins easily, then use a sharp needle. If the needle catches on the sequins, then use a blunt needle.

Once you’ve selected the right type of needle, you’re ready to start sewing with sequins!
