It is with great sadness that we have to announce the closure of 132 McColl’s stores. This decision has been made after a thorough review of the business and we believe it is the best course of action to ensure the long-term viability of the company. This will unfortunately result in 1,300 job losses and we will be working closely with those affected to support them through this difficult time.

Do people buy old sewing patterns

Most people who buy vintage sewing patterns do so for the purpose of collecting, and laminated prints are very common. However, if you want to use the patterns to actually make clothing, it is better to trace them rather than use the original pattern. This way, you won’t damage the original pattern, and you’ll be able to use it again and again.
